A leading Industrial/Mission Critical General Contractor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee large-scale Data Center and Mission Critical projects. The Project Manager will act as a company representative and serve as the primary contact with clients and construction teams. The role involves influencing safety culture and making decisions related to cost and schedule on behalf of the General Contractor.
Project Types: Mission Critical, Data Centers, Semi-Conductor Facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with owners, architects, and company personnel throughout all phases of project development and execution.
- Manage relationships with project owners and architects.
- Oversee all Mission Critical MEP scopes of work.
- Manage one or multiple projects concurrently.
- Handle project schedule, contract documents, change management, cost management, documentation, and stakeholder meetings.
- Coordinate with support departments (Accounting, HR, Safety, Quality Assurance) to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and maintain community relationships.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience in mission-critical (Data Center/Semiconductor), Industrial, and Commercial sectors.
- Experience working specifically in Data Center environments.
- B.S. in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- OSHA-30 certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction disciplines and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Negotiation and analytical skills.
