ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Manchester, NH 03102 (New Hampshire healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: On-site, 20-bed ICU (medical & surgical)
• Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (NH or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency in telemetry, critical drips, ventilators, and advanced ICU equipment
• Experience with EMR systems (Sunrise EMR preferred)
• Strong organizational, communication, and adaptability skills

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced interventions, including ECMO, post-open heart surgery, and critical care devices
• Operate and manage ICU equipment: IV pumps, telemetry monitors, ventilators, CRRT, Impella, IABP, and more
• Assist with and perform procedures such as pericardialcentesis, thoracentesis, central and arterial line insertions, chest tube insertions, intubations, and transvenous pacing
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
