Job Description
Join our Northern California Mental Health Training Program as an Associate Post Masters Mental Health Fellow. This role offers advanced training and supervision for mental health professionals while you provide essential psychotherapy services to diverse populations in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide psychotherapy to patients and co-facilitate family and/or group therapy
Participate in clinical supervision and training activities
Engage in community partnership projects and outreach
Maintain confidential patient files and comply with regional policies
Provide assessments and therapy across various teams including Adult, Child/Family, Chemical Dependency, and others
Required Qualifications
Masters Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field
Successful completion of pre-masters internships in mental health settings
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (California) or Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor Registration (California) required at hire
Competence in Mental Status Evaluation, Mandated Reporting, Suicide/Homicide/Danger Assessment, Ethics and Confidentiality, DSM, and Theories and Practices of Psychotherapy
Demonstrated experience in providing individual, family and/or group psychotherapies
Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity
Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and/or training in working with Adult and/or Child and Adolescent populations
Experience and/or training in Clinical Case Management
Experience and/or training in group therapy
Theoretical background in cognitive, emotional, and interpersonal functioning and abnormal psychology
