Key Responsibilities
Provide therapeutic social, recreational, and diversional events for participants
Conduct individual assessments to identify participants' interests/needs
Develop and implement individual and group activities
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning
Coordinate recreation documentation for assigned group
Lead facility-wide participant-centered events
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire)
Washington Recreational Therapist Registration (upon hire)
National Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (within 6 months of hire)
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience providing recreation with the elderly or disabled
