Position Title: Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (M/S)

Location: Houlton, ME
Contract Type: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12 Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, treatment responses, and progress.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment while adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.

Requirements:

• Active Maine RN License or compact state license.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med-Surg experience in an acute care setting.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
