A Hematology/Oncology Physician provides specialized medical care for patients with blood disorders and cancers, primarily in an outpatient setting at Hampton VA Medical Center. The role requires Board Certification and certifications in ACLS/BLS, with responsibilities including performing multiple procedures daily. Located in coastal Virginia, this position offers a balanced Monday to Friday schedule and serves the veteran community in a supportive clinical environment.
Are you an Hematologist/Oncologist who enjoys coastal life? Come work at the Hampton Veteran Affairs (VA) Medical Center while caring for our nation's veterans. Our physician must be Board Certified/ACLS/BLS required (or will be - for residents) and provide clinical support in an inpatient/outpatient (mostly ambulatory outpatient) setting. Residents should be within one year of graduation. On average, there will 10-12 procedures per day. This position has an ideal workday, which is Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
