Job Description

Join Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center as a New Graduate RN in Behavioral Health, where you will receive hands-on training and support to transition from student to professional. This role is part of a comprehensive residency program aimed at developing your clinical skills in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition during admission and each shift
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers
  • Document administration of care in the patient medical record
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient for therapeutic response
  • Teach patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans

Required Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
  • No previous experience needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Other Certifications may be required during employment
  • Some travel may be needed for training
