Travel RN – Progressive Care/Stepdown – Sharon, CT
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 11/10/2025
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, variable Mon–Fri, every other weekend)
On-Call: None
HumanEdge Health is seeking a travel RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown unit at a 78-bed general hospital in Sharon, CT . This role provides care for a mixed-acuity adult patient population , including step-down patients and occasionally stable ventilator or pressor patients.
Provide nursing care for Med Surg, Telemetry, and PCU patients
Patient population may include: chest pain, CHF, pneumonia, sepsis, SBO, post-op knee/hip, ETOH withdrawal, UTI
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
Assist on Geriatric Psych unit as needed
Utilize critical thinking skills for patient assessment, intervention, and evaluation
Required:
CT RN License
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Preferred:
PCU experience
Telemetry experience
