Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona.

Location: St. Joseph’s Hospital (Main or Westgate Campus)

Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 36 hrs/week guaranteed

Schedule: 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks; required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit: T8 - Trauma, Ortho, Surgical | 30 beds

Ratios: 1:4–5

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS

Experience Required:

• 2+ years TELE experience (mandatory)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Must pass DYS exam (max 2 attempts) before acceptance
• Must pass SIMs Lab (Foley catheter insertion, central line dressing change) on Day 1 — failure results in termination
• Familiarity with sterile technique is essential

Floating: Required to all MS and Tele units including Observation, VMU, T6, T5, 6N, 5N

Orientation: 2 floor-specific shifts

Common Diagnoses: Transplants (post-op day 1), Whipples, Spine/Ortho/Joints, Trauma
