Key Responsibilities
Engine/trailer service including basic automotive repair
Record time spent, parts used, and repair work performed clearly and accurately
Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and recommend and perform appropriate repairs and preventive maintenance
Conduct DOT inspections (training provided)
Examine vehicles to identify necessary repair or safety items
Maintain a safe, clean, productive, and efficient work area
Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of fleet mechanic repair experience
Possess recommended minimum hand tools for a diesel technician/mechanic
Must pass DOT pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
