The Director will oversee the Adult and Family Residential Division, providing leadership in a trauma-informed environment to support residents with mental illness. This role includes ensuring program compliance, fostering staff development, and enhancing client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provides administrative and clinical supervision of assigned programs
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
Conducts performance evaluations and leads recruitment and hiring
Develops and implements new programs and initiatives
Available and on-call 24/7 for urgent situations and client crises
Required Qualifications
LCSW, MSW, or other clinical qualification preferred
At least two years of supervisory experience in residential services or related human services programs
Substantial experience in working with serious mentally ill population
Understanding of trauma informed care
Understanding of co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse addiction
Preferred Qualifications
MPA, MPH, or related degree
Excellent track record as a supervisor
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to understand broader issues of politics, funding, and agency reputation
