Key Responsibilities
Hires, trains, coaches, and motivates team members
Directs and monitors department operations
Promotes employee communication and company goodwill
Schedules people, materials, and equipment efficiently
Conducts performance evaluations
Achieves standard or above standard results in yield, efficiency, and quality
Supports problem-solving teams
Monitors equipment and quality checks
Facilitates departmental goals, objectives, and budget
Required Qualifications
Considerable knowledge of process operations and practices
Strong ability to analyze and solve production problems
Ability to lead and coach employees and projects
Good English verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills required
Valid Pilgrim’s Pallet jack license or ability to obtain within 30 days
Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 6 months
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
Bi-lingual skills
Intermediate computer skills (spreadsheet and word processing)
Conflict management skills
Good organizational skills
Knowledge of cultural issues
Good math aptitude
Basic mechanical knowledge
