ROLE PURPOSE/POSITION SUMMARY
Growing company revenue and gross margin through effectively managing existing CPG customers base while also prospecting new customers to purchase our contract manufacturing and packaging services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Value Added Revenue (VAR) & Gross Margin Growth
- Customer Satisfaction & Responsiveness
- Pipeline Goals/KPI’s: VAR Growth, Deals won, Win Ratio & Average Deal Size
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Growing company revenue and gross margin
- Effective relationship building though solid personal connections which lays the foundation for trust and establishing a business value/fit
- Effectively managing and farming existing CPG customers base
- Strategic selling: The ability to communicate our value and competitive uniqueness while identifying potential customer solutions
- Prospecting new customers to purchase our contract manufacturing and packaging services through effective prospecting skills that allow you to identify a business fit, penetrate and close new business deals
- High commercial acumen which would be utilized to negotiate prices increases and commercial agreements
- Establishment of client-specific value propositions for outsourced services, performance against stated objectives, business growth, business consultancy
- A point of escalation for complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation Manage the entire sales cycle (i.e.: finding a client to securing the deal to first production)
QUALIFICATIONS/ CAPABILITY PROFILE:
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree required
- MBA degree desired
- Professional Affiliations desired
Minimum Experience
- Five to ten years of contract manufacturing or CPG industry sales experience required -Essential
Minimum Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus
- Analytical skills (comparative analysis via spreadsheet) Financial skills (finance fundamentals)
- Technical writing skills
- Executive-level presentation skills (including verbal skills)
- Executive-level relationship skills
- Enthusiastic and passionate
- Organizational and time-management skills
