Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Torrance, California.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 12 hours, nights

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care for patients during labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams.
• Monitor fetal heart tracings and respond appropriately to changes.
• Administer medications, including IV therapy, oxytocin, and emergency interventions.
• Assist with deliveries (vaginal, C-section) and immediate newborn care.
• Float as needed to Mother-Baby unit.
• Precept and support new staff when assigned.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years recent L&D experience.
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted.
• Certifications (Required):
  • ACLS
  • BCLS
  • NRP
  • Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
  • AWHONN Advanced ( preferred )
• Charting: Epic experience required.
• License: Active California RN license (no pending licenses).
