Key Responsibilities
Provide financial advocacy counseling to patients/families
Educate patients on financial policies and assistance processes
Assist patients with KYNect account and premium discounts
Review clinic schedule for uninsured accounts needing intervention
Contact uninsured patients for coverage options
Maintain eligibility as a Certified Application Counselor (CAC)
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of experience in customer service
Ability to work 8-hour shifts during business hours
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
Prior EPIC (EMR) experience
1+ years of Patient Financial Advocate experience
1+ years of experience explaining patient liability amounts
Working knowledge of KY Medicaid
Ability to read an Explanation of Benefits
