Key Responsibilities
Emergency care of the sick and injured
Advanced Life Support procedures
Non-emergency patient transportation
Daily inventory and mechanical inspection of ambulance equipment
Accurate documentation of patient transports
Patient advocacy for insurance coverage
Maintaining required certifications and CEU hours
Maintaining good physical condition and professional appearance
Required Qualifications
Licensed EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic
BLS CPR certification
Pediatric Training: PALS (for Paramedics)
ACLS certification (for Paramedics)
PHTLS certification
Background check and drug screen clearance
No felony convictions
Preferred Qualifications
At least 21 years of age
Experience in emergency medical services
