Job Description

Join Inizio Engage as the Director of Field Reimbursement, where you'll develop and implement reimbursement strategies for a leading biotechnology company. This key role involves driving market development, advising product teams, and ensuring compliance while shaping the future of patient access solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall function of Field Reimbursement for client programs
  • Partner with lead generators to pursue and win new opportunities
  • Identify trends in client requests and adapt products accordingly
  • Work closely with Market Access and Payer teams to inform access strategy
  • Work on designated projects within the scope of services for Patient Access
  • Partner with Quality and Compliance to ensure program compliance
  • Coach at an expert level with reimbursement issues across various payer types
  • Follow all compliance requirements including HIPAA and patient privacy

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years in commercial life sciences (pharma or biotechnology) or related industry
  • Demonstrated successful selling experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device arena
  • 5+ years of experience leading field & virtual reimbursement teams
  • Proven experience in building and managing reimbursement and access teams
  • Strong knowledge of government and commercial payers for specialty products
  • Understanding of payer reimbursement models, prior authorization, and appeal requirements
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data and develop solutions
  • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and change
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions
  • Maintains compliance with program business rules and guidelines
  • Passionate about learning and sharing knowledge
