A CT Technologist administers ionizing radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures, utilizing advanced computer-assisted digital imaging systems. They assist radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures, providing optimal patient care across all age groups. The role requires professional certification and licenses, and involves rotating shifts in a Level 1 Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center environment.
Must be registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within two years of hire/transfer to the position.
If North Dakota, must have current license on the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.
