Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in the classroom by implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students individually or in small groups for self-care and social/behavioral needs
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide timely support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance student engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher OR passing score on Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience working with children
Past work experience in a school setting with children with special needs
