Job Summary
Graduate research assistants (GRAs) are students who, in the course of their academic training, are employed in part-time or temporary research positions, where the student's academic training is based in part on the research performed or where the research duties being performed will assist the student in fulfilling his or her degree requirements. All duties and services of GRAs are to be carried out under the supervision and direction of faculty or administration. A GRA is an aid to a researcher in terms of investigations, exploration, and inquires regarding a particular subject matter. In the performance of their duties, they must abide and adhere to the graduation and instruction criteria and policies established by the College of Nursing. All duties and services of the Research Assistant are to be carried out under the supervision and direction of Associate Dean for Research (ADR). The Research Assistant is an integrated part of the ADR's office and will assist with advancing CON's research mission.
