Key Responsibilities
Provides treatments to patients by evaluating their function and applying appropriate treatments.
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patient symptoms and medical status.
Educates patients and families on home exercise programs to maximize independent functional activity.
Documents care in accordance with insurance guidelines and departmental policies.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
