🏥 Position: Registered Nurse – Neuro Transitional Center
Shift: 5x8-Hour Day Shifts
Contract Length: 13 weeks (91 days)
👩⚕️ Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and assist in medical management
- Support Rehab Residential Manager with:
- Clinical and administrative operations
- Compliance (HHSC ALF Licensure, CARF, regulatory standards)
- Orientation and training of staff
- Conduct weekly MAR audits, manage med documentation, input orders into EHR
- Communicate with physicians, on-call staff, and team regarding patient status
- Oversee emergency drills and respond to urgent situations
- Participate in:
- Patient/family conferences
- Staff meetings, admissions, incident reporting, inventory oversight
- Be part of the on-call rotation for after-hours support
✅ Required Qualifications:
- BLS Certification (AHA only)
- Active RN license in the state
- Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience
- Rehabilitation experience
- Valid driver’s license
