Position Description:
ICU RN needed for Exeter Hospital.
12H days, 7a-7:30p, every third weekend required.
2 years experience required.
ACLS/BLS-AHA required.

• 10 bed ICU - Types of Cases / Patients in ICU: Critically ill adult patients: medical emergencies, post‐surgical care, respiratory failure, sepsis etc. (the typical mix for community hospital ICUs) — since there are intensivists and hospitalists, and the hospital handles specialty services (cardiac, surgery, etc.).
• Some pediatric critical care: Exeter doesn't have its own full pediatric ICU in many reports; often when children become critically ill, they may need to be transferred to larger tertiary pediatric centers.
• But the ICU does manage some ill children in certain situations (e.g. early in illness, stabilizing) when pediatric needs are involved.
• Stroke patients: Exeter has telestroke / tele‐neurology services, because they are certified as a Primary Stroke Center. So acute stroke patients may be managed in ICU if needed.

Past working candidates must be separated from BILH for 6 months to be considered.
