Key Responsibilities
Assess patient needs and develop individualized hospice care plans
Administer pain management interventions, medications, and treatments
Educate and support families and caregivers
Monitor changes in patient condition and adjust interventions
Coordinate care with hospice physicians and team members
Document all care provided and ensure compliance with regulations
Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and families
Communicate regularly with the hospice care team
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as an RN
Minimum of six months in a hospice setting as an RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Other certifications and licenses may be required
