As a Senior Manufacturing Development Engineer at Raytheon, you'll provide critical manufacturing support, leading projects that enhance production capabilities. Your expertise will influence technical program decisions and help improve product designs, ultimately contributing to national security.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate projects and improvements across value streams
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions and workflow
Provide technical input and peer review to engineering designs
Offer technical guidance to factory engineers
Apply manufacturing engineering skillsets to resolve constraints and improve designs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Experience working in manufacturing production
Experience with manufacturing process development or improvement
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to identify, reduce and eliminate constraints
Technical drawing interpretation and proficiency with CAD tools (CREO/ProE preferred)
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Experience with technical writing and interpreting technical drawings
Experience with MRP systems
Experience with Manufacturing Readiness Assessments
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
