Travel Operating Room RN
Location: Bridgeport, CT Start Date: August 4, 2025 Contract Length: 13 Weeks (8/4–11/3/2025) Shift: 40 hours/weekPrimary: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
30% of shifts may be scheduled 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM based on department needs
Occasional weekend work required
Call Requirements: 6 weekdays and 6 weekend calls per 6-week schedule
Job Summary:
Join a fast-paced, high-performing surgical team at a Level 1 Trauma Center . This position is ideal for experienced Operating Room RNs who specialize in trauma, neuro, ortho, and robotics. Candidates must be adaptable, collaborative, and confident in complex surgical environments.Required Experience & Skills:
Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience in a Level 1 trauma center – Required
General Surgery
Robotics (DaVinci & Mako Ortho)
Urology, ENT, Neuro (cervical fusions, lumbar laminectomy)
Plastics (abdominoplasty, breast augmentation)
GYN
Ortho: total knee replacements, total hips (anterior/posterior approach)
Preferred Experience:
Previous travel experience
EPIC EMR
Surgicount and TECSYS systems
Certifications & Licensure:
Active RN license in CT – Required
BLS (AHA) – Required
ACLS – Preferred
