Job Description
Join Memorial Hermann as a Senior Mammography Technologist in a full-time role, supporting various Breast Centers in the North Region. You will perform critical radiographic procedures, mentor staff, and ensure excellent patient care in a collaborative environment focused on community health.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mammography radiographic exams ensuring compliance with safety procedures
Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures
Act as a resource and mentor to staff
Review incomplete exam list and unsigned report status
Maintain appropriate patient flow in the imaging department
Perform quality assurance on mammography equipment
Help schedule technologists for appropriate staffing
Intervene with patients to resolve complaints
Manage supplies and take emergency calls
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
Graduate of an approved program of mammography technology
Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)
Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R)
Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M)
Four years of prior experience as a Mammography Technologist
Ability to perform quality control and stereotactic exams
Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients
