As the Fleet and Facility Maintenance Director at Sysco, you will lead and manage the maintenance, repair, and safety of our facilities and fleet operations. This role involves overseeing a dedicated team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with various departments to optimize efficiency and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Direct daily work and safety of associates
Manage budget and labor hours
Prepare work schedules
Coordinate emergency response and crisis management
Conduct asset management and inventory
Collaborate with other departments for repairs and upgrades
Maintain communication with third-party vendors
Prepare budgets and profit plans
Establish preventative maintenance schedules
Utilize maintenance tracking software
Administer audits and ensure compliance with regulations
Promote associate engagement and morale
Enforce company policies and procedures
Coordinate with safety department for training and inspections
Handle staff management functions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
7 years maintenance management experience
Valid state Driver's License
Level 1 Ammonia Operation Certification
HAZWOPER 24 hrs Training
Certificate in refrigeration
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate in diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and braking systems
