Job Description
Join Fusion Medical Staffing as a Travel Operating Room RN in Indianapolis, IN, for a 13-week assignment. You'll provide essential care during surgeries while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare the operating room with required instruments and supplies
Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery
Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
Anticipate and provide for surgical team needs
Monitor patient's condition during surgery and document changes
Handle surgical instruments and ensure proper use and sterilization
Manage specimen collection and documentation
Participate in patient handoff communication
Clean and restock the operating room between cases
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure compliance with facility standards
Follow hospital safety rules and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications
OR Nursing Certification (CNOR)
Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
