 Key Responsibilities -  Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients. 
-  Serve as primary or accountable nurse when designated by unit assignment. 
-  Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management. 
-  Administer medications safely in accordance with UHS policies and pharmacological standards. 
-  Support productivity and resource utilization, including staffing, time management, and supply use. 
-  Ensure compliance with all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies. 
-  Actively participate in the  Nursing Shared Governance Model  , Unit Council, improvement initiatives, and peer review practices. 
-  Engage in professional growth through continuing education and completion of mandatory training. 
-  Integrate current nursing research and evidence-based practices into patient care. 
-  Support orientation and learning for new employees and nursing students. 
-  Perform duties related to the  Charge Nurse  or  Shift Coordinator  role when assigned. 
-  Carry out additional responsibilities as requested. 
Required Certifications-  BLS (Basic Life Support)
-  ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
-  PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
-  TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
