Facility : San Luis Valley Health Float Pool
Location : Will float between main facility and sister facility (15 minutes away)
Specialty : Critical Care Float (ICU, ED, MedSurg)
Job Type : Travel/Contract Nursing
Shift : Nights (3x12 Hours) | 18:00–06:00

Experience Required :
- Minimum 2 years ICU/ED/MedSurg
- First-time travelers accepted if experience is adequate
Requirements :
- Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS required; NIH and TNCC preferred
- Licensure : Must have active state or compact license at time of submission
- Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend
- On-call : Not required
- Floating : Yes, within scope and to sister facility
- RTO Policy :
- One request allowed
- No RTO during first two weeks
- Maximum of 10 days total
- No full calendar weeks
Guaranteed Hours :
- 12-hour shifts: 36 hours/week
- 10-hour shifts: 40 hours/week
- 8-hour shifts: 40 hours/week
Special Skills Required :
- Para/thoracentesis
- Intubation
- Central and arterial line placement
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Ventilator care
- ICU nurses respond to rapid response calls
