Job Description

Join The Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician, where you'll provide crucial crisis interventions to children and young adults in Staten Island. Be part of a dedicated team making a significant impact in the community by offering immediate risk assessments and therapeutic support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor CMCT email and respond within 2 hours of receiving a crisis referral
  • Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations
  • Create safety plans with clients and families
  • Develop and implement short-term service plans
  • Utilize evidence-based practices for short-term clinical interventions
  • Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
  • Assist with intake process for new consumers
  • Enhance communication with Family Advocates

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Mental Health clinician
  • Valid NYS Driver's License
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
  • Proficient reading and writing English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual clinicians if relevant to the population serviced
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
