Transmission Design Engineer at Electric Power Systems, Inc.

Anchorage, AK or near our remote locations

Salary

$90,000 - $160,000 per year

Job Type

Full-time, Engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (BSCE or BSEE)
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Knowledge of PLS-CADD and NESC code
• Alaska PE license or ability to obtain it soon (preferred)
• Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Develop transmission line designs including analysis, route selection, and structure placement
• Perform line design calculations and technical reviews
• Develop and maintain transmission standards, drawings, and specifications
• Estimate project costs and schedule projects
• Engage in business development and client interactions
