Job Description

Join Sysco as a Diesel Fleet Mechanic Technician II and enjoy a rewarding full-time position with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. You will ensure the reliability and safety of our fleet by performing expert maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, all while benefiting from a union environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on vehicles and equipment
  • Conduct annual inspections on fleet vehicles
  • Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write-ups efficiently
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications
  • Document all work performed on work orders

Required Qualifications

  • Medium / Heavy Duty truck technical training
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair or 3 years of experience
  • Current and valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASE certifications; Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks
  • 609 HVAC Certification
