Key Responsibilities
Assist Meat Manager in running the Meat Department
Provide customers with a variety of cuts of meat
Maintain product levels in sales cases
Ensure compliance with out-of-stock percentage goals
Promote Team Member development
Understand and adhere to the Collective Bargaining Agreement
Unload and check in orders
Stock frozen foods and lunch meats
Maintain cold-chain process
Model and promote safety processes
Demonstrate suggestive selling techniques
Deliver high-quality customer service
Promote diversity, inclusion, and respect
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
Required Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Meat cutting certification
Preferred Qualifications
Prior management experience in Meat operations or related field
Customer Service Experience
Knowledge of Market District meat operational procedures
Ability to read and interpret Profit and Loss statement
