Job Description

Join First Commerce Credit Union as a Payment Operations Manager, where you will oversee payment processing operations, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance. You'll lead a team, drive improvements, and build strong relationships to enhance member service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage payment processing workflows and systems
  • Manage cash management and Federal Reserve services
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the payment team
  • Drive projects and roadmap deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with payment regulations and standards
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance payment systems
  • Generate regular reports on payment processing performance
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role
  • Minimum five years of work experience in banking/credit union payment processing systems and regulations
  • Minimum three years of managerial experience in electronic payments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, logistics, process management, or accounting
  • Experience with Symitar-related products (e.g. Image Center, Synergy, Synapsys, etc.)
