Job Description
Join First Commerce Credit Union as a Payment Operations Manager, where you will oversee payment processing operations, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance. You'll lead a team, drive improvements, and build strong relationships to enhance member service.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and manage payment processing workflows and systems
Manage cash management and Federal Reserve services
Lead, mentor, and develop the payment team
Drive projects and roadmap deliverables
Ensure compliance with payment regulations and standards
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance payment systems
Generate regular reports on payment processing performance
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role
Minimum five years of work experience in banking/credit union payment processing systems and regulations
Minimum three years of managerial experience in electronic payments
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, logistics, process management, or accounting
Experience with Symitar-related products (e.g. Image Center, Synergy, Synapsys, etc.)
