Your role will involve helping students manage challenging behaviors, develop social skills, and enhance their academic engagement through individualized behavior support plans.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in the classroom with academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students' self-care and social/behavioral needs individually or in small groups
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide timely support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance student engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher or passing scores on the Paraeducator or Paraprofessional Assessments
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience
Experience in a school setting with children with special needs
