Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and manage standard wait times
  • Complete check-in and check-out tasks including demographic verification and insurance verification
  • Collect co-payments and manage daily deposits
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Manage medical records and correspondence
  • Establish effective relationships with patients and staff
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • 1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time to nearby offices
  • Ability to work a flexible 40-hour work week between 6:30 am to 5:30 pm PST

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in medical front office Urgent Care
  • 1+ years of related work experience including data entry
  • Prior experience with EMR computer applications
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)
