Job Description

Join Staples as an Inside Sales Manager and lead the charge in driving new revenue growth. Leverage your sales skills to build strategies, engage with customers, and deliver impactful presentations, all while enjoying a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion of 1M new revenue from new customers in public sector and commercial markets
  • Build territory penetration strategy and analyze performance
  • Qualify prospects based on customer size and potential
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective customers
  • Create presentations using marketing collateral
  • Attend events to represent Quill and acquire new customers
  • Develop and present custom pricing solutions
  • Leverage education contracts for customer acquisition
  • Ensure smooth transition to account management upon customer commitment
  • Meet and exceed quotas and key metrics
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Constantly seek improvement and absorb coaching
  • Positively impact team culture and work collaboratively

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 4+ years of field sales experience
  • Required travel within territory based on appointments, customer needs and conferences, approximately 50% travel
  • Remote Role: Must be able to cover a territory of Philadelphia, PA

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months+ of relevant experience in the public sector market
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven business development experience
