Job Description

Join DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging in a leading trauma center. Your expertise will directly impact patient care and contribute to the hospital's mission of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment
Verify patient identity and review medical records
Explain procedures to patients and assess risk factors
Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images
Review images and document exceptions
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
Provide post care instructions to patients
Participate in process improvement activities
Provide imaging education to residents and new employees
Take call/standby as required

Required Qualifications

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training

Preferred Qualifications

Analytical and clinical skills
Interpersonal and communication skills
Technical knowledge of imaging equipment
Ability to work in a complex environment
