Key Responsibilities

  • Obtaining all patient demographics (correct name, date of birth, insurance information)
  • Confirm and schedule appointments
  • Check in and check out patients
  • Answering phones and documenting calls
  • Verifying insurance and benefits
  • Works on simple tasks using established procedures
  • Responds to standard requests
  • Solves routine problems by following established procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of experience working in patient care that includes front desk, insurance verification and EMR system
  • Intermediate level of knowledge of medical terminology, precautions and exposure risks
