Job Description
Join Mercy Hospital as a Monitor Technician on the night shift, where you'll be responsible for monitoring patient cardiac rhythms and ensuring timely communication with healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities
Ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors
Immediate notification of changes in cardiac rhythms to RNs/clinicians
Reviewing patient information to determine normal heart rhythm patterns
Working cooperatively as part of a team
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Completion of monitor tech course or passing score of 85% on monitor tech competency exam
Basic computer skills
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Excellent communication skills
Ability to make quick decisions under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
Experience preferred but not mandatory
CRAT certification within 1 year of hire
