Job Description
Join Zen Educate as an Instructional Aide and make a meaningful impact in K–12 education. You will support students with autism and behavioral needs while collaborating with teachers to create a positive learning environment. This role is ideal for those looking to gain valuable experience in education and support special education students.
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students
Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support
Collaborate with teachers and behavior specialists to create a supportive learning environment
Track and document behavioral data
Partner with special education staff, behavior analysts, and families
Support students with daily routines such as toileting and feeding
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Experience providing personal care support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
US Work Authorization
English proficiency
Passion for supporting students
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting children with autism, complex or severe emotional needs, or in roles such as ABA therapy
Experience in special education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors
