Join Lincoln Electric as a Designer/Drafter and play a vital role in supporting the Plant Engineering team. You'll be responsible for creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drafts, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to capital projects that enhance operations and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with 3D models and manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create and manage electronic files using document management systems
Assist in the development and maintenance of templates and schematics
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support fabrication with creation of supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Required Qualifications
High School Education or GED
3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Proficiency in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM)
Experience with measurement tools (micrometers and calipers)
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
