Key Responsibilities
Technical expert on Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems
Investigate and develop new and existing heat pump, air conditioning, and refrigeration technologies
Support business units with the development of heat pump products
Develop technical product specifications and requirements
Ensure products meet legal, safety, and compliance regulations
Hands-on prototyping development and verification testing
Conduct noise and vibration analysis
System optimization and performance testing
Data analysis of testing results and root cause analysis
Ensure required certification for product compliance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
4+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge in heat pump and air conditioning technologies, electro-mechanical and direct digital control circuits, electrical circuits, blowers, and motors
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of thermodynamics and engineering fundamentals
Familiarity with UL safety standards UL-60335-2-40 and UL-484 and AHRI performance standards AHRI 210/240, AHRI 600, AHRI 1380
Certified PE
Proficiency to learn about new technology and adapt to new situations
