Join Bosch as a Mechanical Systems Development Engineer, where you will leverage your expertise in Air Source Heat Pump technologies to develop innovative products that meet performance and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Technical expert on Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems
  • Investigate and develop new and existing heat pump, air conditioning, and refrigeration technologies
  • Support business units with the development of heat pump products
  • Develop technical product specifications and requirements
  • Ensure products meet legal, safety, and compliance regulations
  • Hands-on prototyping development and verification testing
  • Conduct noise and vibration analysis
  • System optimization and performance testing
  • Data analysis of testing results and root cause analysis
  • Ensure required certification for product compliance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge in heat pump and air conditioning technologies, electro-mechanical and direct digital control circuits, electrical circuits, blowers, and motors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of thermodynamics and engineering fundamentals
  • Familiarity with UL safety standards UL-60335-2-40 and UL-484 and AHRI performance standards AHRI 210/240, AHRI 600, AHRI 1380
  • Certified PE
  • Proficiency to learn about new technology and adapt to new situations
  • Motivated self-starter, results driven
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
