ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with potential to work past 3:00 PM as needed
• Full-time position with 1:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Weekend requirements: Yes
• On-call requirements: Yes
• CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience required
• Minimum 1 year recent surgical setting experience required
• 5 years surgical scrub experience required
• Current Louisiana RN License required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• No floating outside of operating room
• Provide individualized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical interventions
• Utilize nursing process including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
• Ensure effective communication between nurse, patient, staff, physicians, anesthesia providers, and hospital departments
• Provide quality care for patients across all age groups from infants to older adults
• Demonstrate understanding of functional and developmental needs of diverse patient populations
