Job Description
Join Uncommon Schools as a High School Math Teacher, where you'll inspire students to excel in mathematics and foster their growth as self-guided learners. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team and utilize innovative strategies to support student engagement and success.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Math curriculum including Algebra, Geometry, or Calculus
Support students in problem-solving and critical thinking
Foster a community of self-guided learners
Analyze student work samples and assessments weekly
Build positive relationships with students and families
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Academic expertise in Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or related fields
1-2 years experience impacting K-12 students in urban schools (preferred)
Commitment to supporting students' social emotional and academic development
Preferred Qualifications
Enthusiasm for collaborating with internal and external partners
Self-directed learner who implements feedback
