Key Responsibilities
Administers the nursing program in a long-term care facility
Facilitates optimization of geriatric care process
Responsible for overall quality of care provided by nursing personnel
Advises medical staff and administrators on nursing service strategies
Monitors operations of nursing staff for compliance with regulations
Schedules staff and conducts employee performance reviews
Develops and implements marketing activities/programs
Required Qualifications
Five years nursing experience required
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of nursing care
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
Housing with Services, housing and urban development (HUD), and/or assisted living experience
