Key Responsibilities
Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, and styling
Monitor pets for signs of discomfort, illness, or injury
Provide optimal customer service and address grooming-related inquiries
Maintain a clean and safe grooming area
Educate pet parents on grooming maintenance and at-home care practices
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco
Previous experience as a professional groomer
Expert knowledge of various dog breeds and grooming requirements
Preferred Qualifications
High-school diploma or GED
Strong attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
