Key Responsibilities
Assume responsibility for total care of assigned patients
Conduct assessments and establish nursing diagnoses
Formulate and implement written plans of care
Provide health care training and education to patients/families
Supervise other licensed and non-licensed nursing personnel
Work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing
Current BLS certification
Previous experience in acute care hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year of experience in ER
Ability to function in stressful situations
